At the end of 2019, and after many trips testing electric scooters, from one side of the city to the other, I could see that something was wrong. The models available are quite basic, with a low level of comfort and safety, do not incorporate driving assistance systems, are aesthetically very simple, with little personality, and are aimed at low-cost markets. There are also more expensive scooters, but then they are whims aimed at a world of youth competition, where what is imposed is an exaggerated and absurd power capacity, acceleration and speed, with unmanageable weights. And they have even worse aesthetics.

I began to see, clearly, that it was necessary to design and build a radically different, more elegant, personal electric vehicle that could transport us, with great comfort and safety, to a work meeting or a private party, well dressed and with perfect tranquility, proud to know that we were driving a serious vehicle. At the same time, I also saw that such a vehicle should incorporate all the technology that would make it safer, more comfortable and more useful, including image recognition and AI. In short, I envisioned the vehicle I wanted to find that didn’t exist.

From the dream I quickly moved on to the business plan. I surrounded myself with excellent designers, mechanical engineers, electronics and software engineers, specialists in carbon fiber and state-of-the-art technical materials, machining and production experts, and corporate financial advisors. We formed a compact and cohesive team, in which we all pursued unwavering goals: reliability, safety, quality, good taste and technology. That’s the word: our vehicle had to be exclusive.

And we have succeeded. The initial dream has become a passion.
